The La Crosse Highlanders, Inc. is the support organization for The La Crosse & District Pipes and Drums. Both were founded in La Crosse, WI, in the late 1970’s.
The Pipe Band, first known as The VIIth Bn. West Mosby Volunteers, and later as The Floodplain Fencibles, is now well into its 4th decade of performances. La Crosse and District P&D band members proudly wear Campbell of Cawdor tartan kilts, and regularly take part in regional parades and festivals. The Band, or a selection of members, can become a part of your special event, when you want a unique and memorable musical component. Contact us
Since its founding, The La Crosse Highlanders have planned and sponsored, and the Band has performed in, our annual Robert Burns Supper, often with 200 and more guests attending. Ours is one of thousands of similar occasions hosted around the world, saluting the famous Scottish poet, Robert Burns, and celebrating aspects of Scottish heritage, tradition, and cuisine.
